Economic Dignity is Protection

Krishnachura Fashion is the social enterprise wing of Krishnachura: A Center for Gender Minorities Rights.

It was created from the belief that gender minorities cannot live safely without economic dignity.

For many transgender, hijra, intersex, non-binary, and gender-diverse people in Bangladesh, formal employment remains inaccessible because of stigma, discrimination, harassment, and social exclusion.

Krishnachura Fashion creates dignified livelihood pathways through tailoring, production, skills development, and ethical enterprise.

What We Build

Skills and training opportunities
Safe and respectful work environments
Ethical production systems
Income pathways for gender minorities
Community-led enterprise models

Why It Matters

Economic power reduces vulnerability.

When gender minorities earn, create, produce, and lead, they are not only surviving. They are building futures.

Krishnachura Fashion is not only a business.
It is a social protection model.
It is a movement economy.
It is dignity stitched into fabric.
